The Challenge

Nidec Corporation, a global leader in electric motor manufacturing, encountered challenges with its UK division, Control Techniques. Their motor drive control unit software, developed in the late 1990s, had become outdated, making it difficult to meet modern demands. The software struggled with bugs due to incompatibilities with newer systems and required customized variants for different clients, such as supporting multiple languages and various numbers of integrated motor control units.

What We Delivered

Furthermore, Wolf Logic performed an in-depth analysis of Nidec’s legacy system, evaluating software interactions and the core code architecture. Moreover, We successfully ported the existing code to a modern framework and integrated a new API service, stabilizing the platform and resolving critical compatibility issues.
